- The day designated as President's Day, which I still think of as Washington's Birthday.
- Shrove Tuesday/Mardi Gras (I must have cheap beads somewhere. And perhaps I could make pancakes just this once).
- Ash Wednesday (for Christians) opens the Lenten season.
- Pitchers and Catchers Report begins the runup to baseball season.
Purim isn't for another couple weeks. I'm thinking of hamentaschen.
